Hi, It is near impossible to get through to service after a service appt has been completed. I received a text asking if I had question and an email if I had any questions. I responded to both over a week ago and never received a response. I also call the service number at Catonsville and never get through to anyone besides the voicemail. I have left 4 messages over the past week and never received a call back.

I'm normally not one to complain when it comes to service. They did warn me that the oil change and tire rotation would take a little over 2 hours because they were backed up. I was fine with that. After 2 hours my service advisor (nice guy) said my car was finished. I went out to get my car and it wasn't there. He had to call the guys in the back to bring it around. When I got into my car, the check engine light was on. It only has 6,500 miles and it was never on before this moment. I went back inside and they took it back to the garage again. They ran a bunch of diagnostics, according to the advisor. Another 45 min later the same young kid brought the car to me. When I asked him what caused the light to come on, he said, "the guys said that the cap wasn't where it should be". I took this to mean that someone forgot to put my oil cap back on the engine and the sensor (luckily) realized it wasn't there. So three hours later I was on my way from my car's first oil change appointment. This experience didn't inspire my confidence. I think I will try VW of Laurel for my next appointment. However, I will not rule out going back to VW of Catonsville. Bad days happen and I will give them another try at some point in the future. I had my previous VW GTI serviced there and never had an issue.
