I had to strongly advocate for myself in order to have the routine 20K service completed after the advisor said I was not eligible. Then, I asked them to check on my dash lights and when they told me it wasn’t covered under warranty- I asked how to fix it and they said “they’d send a text or something with a price.” I’ve never received any follow up since. Just seemed like an apathetic attitude and generally a poor experience. It’s not the first time and unfortunately won’t be the last for as long as I have complimentary services available, unfortunately. There’s no feeling of service at this dealership, almost as if customers are a burden. Not a fan. Heck, they didn’t even replace the oil change sticker. Just sad, really.

Had service scheduled at 7:30am. Finally drove away at 10:00am. Oil change and tire rotation, also asked that a 'squeak' be investigated in the suspension. Multi-point inspection was also requested, but there was no evidence of that being performed, or if it was, I received no report or information. Car was brought around at roughly 9:35am and it took a further 25 minutes to finish up the paperwork.

I have made three calls to Heritage Volkswagen's service department (2/27/25 @ 1:44 pm, 2/28/25 @ 9:05 am, and 3/21/25 at 11:06 am). All three calls went to a service member's voicemail. I left messages on all three occasions to have someone call me and never got a call back. The most recent call concerned damage that was done to my vehicle while fixing a defect. I have a 2024 Atlas, which I purchased new from Heritage. Since I've had the vehicle, there has been a rattling noise coming from under the middle passenger seat. On 3/18/25, I brought the vehicle to Heritage to diagnose where the noise was coming from. They determined it was a loose seat rail. I was told they needed to order the part, and I would need to return for the repair, which was fine. When I went to leave, I noticed there were three pieces of trim near the middle passenger seat that had been damaged while they were either removing or reinstalling the seat to diagnose the issue. I was told the dealership would replace them. The call on 3/21 at 11:06 am was to get a status update. Again, nobody returns calls at Heritage. It is very disappointing to me to have spent over $40k on a vehicle and to receive this type of service. In addition, it is hard for me to imagine that whoever worked on my car did not notice the damage they caused while diagnosing the noise from under the seat. Nobody said anything to me when the car was returned. If I could give Heritage zero stars, I would.

It took three hours for an oil change. It was a sloppy job with oil spilt on multiple surfaces and battery terminal covers left off.

When dropping my car off I was asked if I wanted to wait at the dealership for the work to be completed. When I was unhappy that the car was kept overnight I was told that I was notified it would be over 24 hours to do the update. I guess I should have brought a sleeping bag if I intended to wait at the dealership for the work to be completed. There was a video taken of the condition of the car. The video was mysteriously "lost" when a scratch occurred on the door of my car. I was seriously contemplating holding a sign on the sidewalk that said "Ask me why I would never shop here again" after how bad my service was.

I'm still waiting for the response regarding the missing cover inside the trunk door.
