Here at Russel Volkswagen, we have a wide range of new Volkswagen vehicles. However, there is one sedan that drivers keep coming back to: the Volkswagen Jetta. Last year's 2015 Volkswagen Jetta saw an exciting exterior and interior redesign. This redesign and added electronic features put this already standout vehicle even higher on the safety charts. The 2016 Volkswagen Jetta is no different. It has a commitment to safety and power thanks to a new turbocharged engine. Both the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta and the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta evolved to include exiting new features and here at Russel Volkswagen, we're excited to provide drivers with both outstanding models.

The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta had some exciting styling changes that up the sedan's safety game. Thanks to new structural enhancements, the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta earned five out of five stars for overall safety in government crash tests. Along with the updated structure, technology like the Volkswagen Car-Net telematics system is always available and nets drivers roadside assistance, automatic crash notification, stolen vehicle location and remote vehicle access. The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta is available in five trim levels: Base, S, SE, Sport and SEL. A standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 115 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque is equipped on the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Base and S. Drivers opting for the higher trim levels will find a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque under the hood. Both engines come with a five-speed manual transmission as standard or an optional six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Volkswagen Jetta has a lot of the same great features of the 2015 models but with a few notable upgrades. The 2016 Jetta is available in four trim levels: S, SE, Sport and SEL. For the lower trim levels a new and more powerful 1.4-ltier four-cylinder engine is available and rated at 150 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Technology in the cabin of this model is also upgraded. Drivers will get either a 5-inch or a 6.3-inch touchscreen that boasts Apple CarPlay or Android Auto app integration along with the VW Car-Net system. In addition to the touchscreen, the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta S sports a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and auxiliary audio jack.  Along with the top of the line technology, the interior is both stylish and comfortable, with soft-touch materials and plenty of leg room.

Thanks to the redesigned body and upgraded safety features on the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta and the added technology features on the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta, both vehicles are true standouts here at Russel Volkswagen. You can find both models here on our Baltimore National Pike lot. Our friendly group of Baltimore Volkswagen dealers would be happy to explain what makes each of these sedans unique and such stand outs on the road.
