What to Expect in the 2018 Volkswagen Golf

If you’re like many drivers, the 2017 Volkswagen Golf catches your eye every time one passes you on the road or you glimpse one in a parking lot. While the 2017 Volkswagen Golf turns many heads, the 2018 VW Golf is sure to turn even more.

With more style, technology and driver assistance features, the new Volkswagen Golf is going to appeal to just about everyone. To heighten the appeal of this vehicle even more, the Volkswagen brand brought back the Clark Paid interior with an available sunroof in the 2018 Golf GTI trim.

Every 2018 VW Golf trim will show off updated front and rear bumpers, LED taillights, and LED daytime running lights. Some models will also have new chrome accents and LED headlights.

On the inside, the 2018 Volkswagen Golf has a crisp touchscreen. The standard touchscreen is 6.5-inches, but some VW Golf models will have an 8-inch touchscreen.

Driver assistance features, including front assist with pedestrian monitoring and a blind-spot monitor that has a rear cross-traffic alert, are now standard on some VW Golf SE models. Adaptive cruise control, lane assist, ParkPilot™, park assist, and automatic high beam control are optional on some Volkswagen Golf trims.

Clearly, the 2018 Volkswagen Golf lineup is evolving even more than it already has in response to what drivers want in new VW vehicles. We’re proud of the Volkswagen brand for listening to drivers and offering motorists around the world even more in the 2018 Volkswagen Golf.
